2026 Language Immersion Weekend for teachers of Italian

A Professional Learning Opportunity for Teachers of Italian

We are pleased to offer again the Italian Language Immersion Weekend for primary and secondary teachers.

The aim of this immersion weekend is to provide opportunities to practice the Italian language in a number of stimulating and engaging activities with colleagues.

The Immersion weekend will be facilitated by experienced Italian lecturers at The University of Melbourne: Laura Lori (Lecturer in Italian Studies) and Silvia Tullio (Lecturer in Languages and Literacies Education).

When:

Saturday 1 August (9.30am - 9pm) - arrival by 8.30am
Sunday 2 August (9.00am - 3pm)

Where:

Cleveland Estate - 55 Shannons Road, Lancefield (Macedon Ranges), Victoria 3435

Cost:

$300 for single (Government school teacher)
$350 for single (non-Government school teacher)

Cost includes single room accommodation, workshops, materials, all meals and refreshments (alcoholic drinks excluded)

Cancellations:

1) Cancellations before Friday 24 July will receive a full refund.

2) Cancellations after Friday 24 July will not receive a refund.
