ABSTRACT

In this session, teachers will share practical ideas and strategies they have successfully implemented with students learning Italian at the primary level.

Participants will also have the opportunity to network and exchange further ideas with colleagues.

BIO

Nancy Cozzo, Jacqueline Robertson, Isabella Mammoliti & Angela Francavilla

Nancy Cozzo is an experienced teacher of Italian at Brunswick South Primary Italian bilingual School. Nancy's dedication ensures the Italian language and culture flourish in an engaging and authentic learning environment.

Jackie Robertson is the Bilingual Leader at Footscray Primary Italian Bilingual School. In her role, she is responsible for developing and coordinating the bilingual program. Before teaching in the bilingual setting, she worked as a specialist Italian language teacher at Coburg North Primary School.

Isabella Mammoliti is an experienced teacher and has always had a passion for Italian culture and language. Currently, Isabella is the Italian teacher at Princes Hill Primary School and the Virtual Italian teacher facilitating the online Italian Programs for the Mallee region (Victorian rural schools). 

Angela Francavilla is an experienced Italian teacher and is currently teaching Italian at Westbreen Primary School. Angela endeavours to engage the students in learning Italian; and promotes the Italian program at her school.
