ABSTRACT

This session analyses the 2025 Written Examination. It will clarify the requirements of each section, highlight common student errors, identify features of high-scoring responses, and suggest practical areas for future teaching focus, preparation, and improvement.

Secondary Italian teacher since 1993, with extensive experience in curriculum leadership, pedagogy, and assessment. Former Head of Languages and Leader of Pedagogy at Siena College. Chief Assessor for the 2025 Written Examination and Assistant Chief Assessor for the Oral Examination with extensive experience in secondary Italian teaching, assessment, and curriculum development. Current teacher at Loreto Manderville Hall Toorak.
