ABSTRACT
This presentation provides VCE teachers with resources designed to promote students’ cultural and linguistic skills and their connection to Italian, both within and beyond the classroom. Resources include an excursion guide to the NGV, complete units of work, and SACs, covering topics of music, gastronomy, sport, art, and social media.

Matthew Bokan
Matthew Bokan is a language assistant at Marcellin College who has team-taught Year 12 while also supporting VCE students individually since 2023. Having graduated in 2021, he draws on his experience and dual perspective as student and teacher to share his passion for the Italian language and culture with students.
