This session examines how AI and current EdTech trends can be used to strengthen language learning outcomes, rather than undermine them. It focuses on building engaging, ICT-rich units of work, differentiating learning through digital tools, and redesigning assessment to ensure authenticity and equity in 2026.

Mark Gabriele is passionate about innovative pedagogy linking Languages and ICT in education. As Primary–Secondary Faculty Leader Italian at Hume Anglican Grammar Donnybrook, he uses technology to enhance engagement and support teachers. His pedagogical passion is the innovation of Language education and focuses on ICT practice and future-proofing language learning.
