Collaborative learning activities to engage, empower and motivate language learning

Abstract: This workshop showcases and explains the utilisation of Kagan Learning Strategies and John Hattie's Visible Learning tools in order to actively involve and empower adolescent language learners. The activities presented in this workshop primarily emphasise the development of literacy skills, catering to various learning styles such as Visual, Aural, Reading/Writing, and Kinaesthetic (VARK). Teachers will be motivated to cultivate classroom techniques that are effortless to implement and encourage adolescent learners to take ownership of their own educational journey.
