The aim is to answer 'how to implement greater ICT capacity into the language classroom'. This is for teachers who don’t have the time or know where to start. The session aims to give you some answers and strategies to creating an Italian classroom that connects teaching practice with contemporary ICT strategies including websites, games, and ideas with the aim to create higher levels of engagement in the second language classroom across years 7-VCE.
Mark Gabriele
Mark is invigorated by exploring new and exciting pedagogical strategies that connect Languages and ICT. While introducing Italian as the primary language at Plenty Valley Christian College he has also implemented a ‘Ready to Tech’ program that teaches students essential ICT skills for their high school journey. Mark strives to develop engaging language learning classroom that maintains authentic Italian instruction while connecting it with current and engaging ICT applications.
