This workshop has the goal of providing teachers with the necessary skills and knowledge to use CHAT GPT as a powerful tool in their planning processes, leading to improved student engagement. The workshop includes an introduction to CHAT GPT, an exploration of its potential in education, and best practices for utilizing it as a teaching tool. It also covers how to develop strategies for integrating it into lesson plans, as well as hands-on activities and demonstrations. Participants are encouraged to bring their own device.

After starting in the banking industry, Maria transitioned to teaching in 1997, beginning at Catholic Regional College in Traralgon. Since 1999, she has been at Emmaus College, Vermont South where she serves as the Learning Area Leader of Languages, teaching Italian in Years 7-12. Alongside her passion for teaching Italian language, she has also developed an interest in technology and its use in education.
