ABSTRACT
This session offers a quick overview of the contribution of second language learning to the development of skills and knowledge of foundational learning and capabilities in the Victorian Curriculum VC2, F - 10, and the contribution of foundational learning and capabilities to second language studies at VCE.

Anne Fisher
Anne taught Japanese language in Victorian schools for 20 years. She then worked at the VCAA, Northern Region, Languages Online and the Asia Education Foundation. At the VCAA again, she was the National Coordinator of the Collaborative Curriculum and Assessment Framework for Languages and retired in 2022.
